The choirs of Angelica Cantanti begin their 27th season by hosting an afternoon vocal workshop for girls and women on Saturday, October 27 and an afternoon vocal workshop for boys and men on Sunday, October 28 at Saint Michaels Lutheran Church, 9201 Normandale Boulevard, in Bloomington. The workshops are free and all ages are welcome. A special concert will be presented at the end of each workshop at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Admission for the concert is $5 at the door.
This event provides the rare opportunity for the public to work with the skillful directors of Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs and several guest artists including conductor and composer Randy Grundahl, Finnish Ensemble Group Saana, and the internationally acclaimed mens chorus Cantus.
