After reading the Cape Argus article on the 26th May, page 4 entitled “Funding shortage threat to Frail Care Home” The Old Age Home has lost 70% of their sponsorship due to the Economic Meltdown. An initiative has been taken to raise funds for the Old Age Home through an evening of entertainment for the exclusive benefit of Beit-ul-Aman which will be held at the Luxurama on Saturday 11th July 2009 from 19:45pm till late.
Hosted by Jawaahier Petersen (the late Taliep Petersen’s daughter), featuring Jody Williams (SA POP IDOLS WINNER 2008), Mathew Moolman (POP IDOLS TOP 10 2009), Jarrad Ricketts (TOP 30 CHARTS ON GOODHOPE FM) and much much more.
