Following the wildly successful Chinese New Year Spectacular, Shen Yun Performing Arts returns to Westchester August 2, with its breathtaking classical Chinese dance and live orchestral music.

Shen Yun, previously known as "Divine Performing Arts," has changed its name in English to match the Chinese name in pronunciation, though the meaning has not changed - and certainly the high-caliber performances have not changed.

This is a front for Fa Lung Gong. They try to brain-wash you into worshipping a man who claims to be an incarnaion of a supernatural being. Shen Yun is a way for the group to raise money. Most performers are non-professionals and have passed their prime in age.
