Black Hills Summer Theatre: Dirty Work at the Crossroads
Thursday July 30, 2009 - Sunday August 2, 2009 from 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Black Hills State University - Woodburn Theatre
1200 University St.
Spearfish, South Dakota 57799 Get Directions
Join us for the classic good vs. evil melodrama of “Dirty Work at the Crossroads” at Black Hills State University. Now in its third season the Black Hills State University Summer Theatre showcases BHSU students and alumni. “Dirty Work at the Crossroads” is the last of three summer shows on the BHSU campus in the historic Woodburn Hall Theatre (elevator access is available). Performances begin in late July and are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The melodrama, “Dirty work at the Crossroads,” depicts the tear jerking story (in a laughable style) of innocent country girl Nellie Lovelace. Munro, the viper, has a wife - Ida Rhinegold, belle of the New Haven Music Halls - but that does not prevent him from pursuing Nellie and tearing her from the arms of her dying mother (whom he has poisoned). Come and see how this classic tale of good vs. evil unfolds.

Dates of performance are:
July 30 - 7:30 p.m.
July 31 - 7:30 p.m.
Aug 1 - 7:30 p.m.
Aug 2 - 2:30 p.m.

Ticket Prices:
$12.00 - General Admission
$8.00 - Students (with ID) and children under 8
