Tenth Annual Midnight Classic Bike Tour
Saturday August 22, 2009 at 10:00pm
Chickasaw Oaks Village Shopping Center
3092 Poplar Avenue
Memphis, Tennessee 38111 Get Directions
The 10th Annual Midnight Classic Bike Tour will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009. This is our signature community event in the Mid-South. Young or old will enjoy a 17-mile, non-competitive, police escorted, bike ride will tour along Memphis landmarks and experience the thrill of a night on the town. It’s like nothing else!

Registration and The Lunar Festival begins at 10:00 p.m. Cyclists will start rolling at midnight, and a breakfast snack will be served at the finish line. During the festival bikers can listen to a live band, get a free bike check-up by local bike shops, along with a demonstration by local bikers who perform some amazing tricks on their bikes.

Support vehicles will be along the route to provide transportation back to the starting area for those who have mechanical difficulties or for those who don’t want to finish the 17-mile tour.

Proceeds from the Midnight Classic will benefit the programs of Meritan including services for seniors, specialized foster care for medical and emotionally fragile children, blind and visually impaired and programs for the developmental disabled.
