Kripalu Workshop- (2 sessions) Jan and Richard will co-instruct this special all-day workshop based on the Kripalu yoga method. Co-instruction benefits the students by providing both hands-on adjustments and individual assistance while being guided through a mindful yoga practice. The morning session will focus on energizing the body through pranayama (breath practice), physical warm up, and guidance into movement with the breath- followed by floor postures, and more! The restorative afternoon session will concentrate on Yin Yoga (opening the body by holding each pose for several minutes) followed by guided meditation. The combination of both practices will draw the student into focusing on the present moment by unifying the mind, body and spirit. Join us for either the morning or afternoon session, or both!
Instructors: Jan and Richard Barrali, Chattanooga, TN. Jan and Richard are certified Kripalu Yoga instructors who teach at several yoga studios and rehabilitation centers throughout Chattanooga, TN. Together, they have practiced yoga for many years and have studied under many well know yoga masters.
