Shoot Shoreditch Interactive Photography Treasure Hunt
Saturday July 18, 2009 from 11:15am - 6:30pm
Cargo
83 Rivington Street
London, London EC2A3 Get Directions
After this year’s successful spring event at Tate Modern, Shoot Experience returns to its East London roots for the fifth consecutive year to host Shoot Shoreditch.

Held at Cargo, Shoot Shoreditch is an interactive photography treasure hunt for the general public. Participants sign up in teams of 2–4 and are tasked on the day with deciphering clues that will lead them to different destinations around Shoreditch, EC2. Having deciphered the clues, teams take fun and creative photographs to portray the answers.

They return to Cargo at the end of the day to submit their photos and relax as all photos are shown in a big screen slide show and judged. Winners are honoured in an awards ceremony to finish the day, and prizes are given for categories such as Best Team Photo and Most Creative Photo, as well as for individual clues.

There will be eight clues in total: some will lead participants to actual destinations and some are more open, designed to encourage creative interpretation.

Shoot Shoreditch is an event open to anyone with a thirst for creative adventure. All it takes is an enthusiastic team and a digital camera to re-discover this eclectic London borough.

All participants must register their team and purchase tickets in advance on-line at www.shootexperience.com. You do not have to be a professional photographer, all that is required is creativity and enthusiasm.
