SouthBound: Tribute to the Allman Brothers Band
Saturday February 23, 2008 at 8:00pm
OC Pavilion
801 North Main Street
Santa Ana, California 92701 Get Directions
SouthBound is more than a musical tribute to the Allman Brothers Band; it's also one of the best damn bands you’ll ever hear in concert. A SouthBound concert captures the music and spirit of the world's greatest Southern rock band. Two drummers on every tune, two screaming guitars on "Rambling Man", wistful vocals on "Midnight Rider", slinky slide solos on "One Way Out", the frenetic energy of "Whipping Post"...all more powerful than the originals. Signature details blend with classic jams and improvisations, creating a once-in-a-lifetime live concert experience. Close your eyes, and you’ll think you’re actually at the Fillmore East with the Allmans in 1971.

Described as “Grammy-worthy” by LA’s most prominent players and nominated for the Orange County Music Awards, Jonathan Blake is Southern California’s hottest emerging artist. Redefining the blues for 21st Century, he gains mass attention for his distinct Pop and Rock appeal. His exceeding skills as singer, songwriter and guitarist are destined to join the ranks of legends, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton.

Experience this musical event in the intimate 529-seat OC Pavilion theater with leather seats, extra-wide aisles and an exceptional view from any location. Tickets are available through the box office at 714-550-0550 or online at www.ocpavilion.com.
