dublit pre-launch party: poignant short stories and unpretentious drinks
Thursday November 8, 2007 from 7:25pm - 10:30pm
Space Gallery
1141 Polk St.
San Francisco, California 94109 Get Directions
dublit is an innovative new writers community founded to cultivate short-form literature and to support the purveyors of the art. Think "This American Life" meets your local writer's group, meets a huddle around the campfie. Now cross that with iTunes, your iPod and the collective power of the web.

On Thursday Nov 8th, join us for an evening of inspired original stories read live by well-loved Bay Area writers to include established literary leaders as well as ambitious up-and-coming talents. Get transported by the musical alchemy of DJ Nudeants and the luscious live-mixed visual stylings by VJ Lux Lucidus.

This event is Free with RSVP but space is limited so sign up early! Enjoy tasty Hors D'oeuvres, music, video, and compelling, thought-provoking stories sure to leave an indelible mark.

dublit T-Shirts will be available for $5 and there will be a cash beer and wine bar in a supercool lounge and gallery setting.

Love NPR, books, and parties? dublit is for you.

Started with the decidedly selfish* mission to amass short stories on his iPod for free, dublit has grown into a grass-roots campaign to empower both professional and emerging writers through technology.
