For the month of July works of Somerville Artist Heather Balchunas will be displayed at the Somerville Public Library. Join us for a meet the artist reception on July 13.

"On the Road" is a continued exploration of American iconography from earlier works depicted in her "Blues Plate Special" series, collection of musicians and diners are an embodiment of the nostalgic themes that are close to her heart.

As a freelance graphic designer and fine artist, she paints murals for private residencies, creates sets for theatrical production, and designs promotional pieces for local businesses.
