Jeet Kune Do Seminar With U.S.A. Hall of Fame Inductee Sifu Sebastian Nazario
Saturday July 11, 2009
from
1:00pm -
4:00pm
Golden Dragon - Jeet Kune Do will demystify many myths surrounding the martial arts. It will redefine your beliefs. It will unlock your potential and enhance your chances of survivability. The primary concern is avoidance. The second is de-escalation, the third if the first two fail, is protective-offense.
WHAT IS GOLDEN DRAGON - JEET KUNE DO
Golden Dragon - Jeet Kune Do, is a hybrid version of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, with all the principles and concepts of Jeet Kune do still retained, but none of the techniques. G.D.J.K.D. is a principle based system that only teaches 10 techniques. Everything taught in G.D.J.K.D. has been proven to work in actual street fights. Golden Dragon - Jeet Kune Do is an art and science dedicated towards the study and investigation of survival of the modern day streets. It is in a state of constant evolution, never standing still and fuelled by research and investigation.
G.D.J.K.D. is a highly individualized process to explore one’s own freedom of expression. We train and fight with “aliveness”, we emphasize constant training against moving and resisting partners rather than passive recipients. We believe that the way we train is the way we will fight.
G.D.J.K.D. is designed for the streets, not for sport. We use eye gouging, biting, grabbing, and hair pulling plus many other foul tactics. We train students how to:
Manage and overcome fear
Learn grappling and ground fighting skills
Escape and release from grabs and holds
Learn how to use improvised weapons
Utilize your entire body as a weapon
Defend yourself in confined spaces
Defend against punches and kicks
Defend against multiple attackers
Defend against baseball bats
Defend against knifes
Defend against guns
* Progressive * Innovative * Effective
