This 4th of July, the Sunnyvale Department of Community Services invites you to enjoy a good old fashioned picnic at Baylands Park. There are picnic sites with extra-large barbecue grills, electricity and water, layout tables, shade structures, and cans and bottles recycling containers. Play structures and restrooms are nearby. Rock Lerum, a veteran performer at the Hands On the Arts Festival, will be roving the picnic areas as a stilt walker and juggler. The Fun on the Run vehicle will also be onsite to provide games and activities for elementary school-aged children. To protect wildlife, pets are not allowed in the park.
