These concerts are free for everyone. Families, friends and music lovers of all ages attend. They bring chairs, blankets, drink and food. Everyone relaxes on a warm summer evening. Children play on the playground equipment and even have their own dance floor. Adults lean back, smile, and, if they feel like it, dance on their own dance floor. If the adults don’t feel like cooking after a long day at work; pizza, root beer floats, ice cream Sundays and cold drinks are sold for a nominal amount by local non-profit organizations. What better comfort food is there?

We have an audience of about 450 music lovers per concert. Some concerts draw an audience of 800. As the bands represent several genres of music, the concert goers rotate in attendance.

Concerts in the Park has become a Fair Oaks Tradition. The entire community supports the concerts through sponsorships: businesses, local non-profit organizations and private families.
