The Music Festival of the Americas at Stowe will considerably enrich the musical landscape of Vermont this summer. Known as the Stowe Summer Music Festival for the past 7 years, this new incarnation will focus on the sweeping music of the Americas and feature the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas. Alondra de la Parra, Conductor and Founder of the POA returns as Festival Music Director. Tenor José Ortega and soprano Jennifer Lynn Waters, stars of the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program and protégés of Placido Domingo, and violinist Daniel Andai, will join the festival.
