.. Long-time collaborators Amy and Jason Chorney tell a tale of violent upheaval and end-of-days in a garden of sensual delights. Currently we are in the Versakyle studio hard at work on our first San Francisco homegrown demo. StitchCraft is a story of the way that community creates music and music creates community. Like a communally created quilt, or the feast in the folk tale of Stone Soup; the players of StitchCraft took their name to honor the participation of the muse, the audience, and play with the questions of life, death, adventure and self realization in our human experiences. These musicians have a powerful presence and their visible connection on stage makes their music shine and their audiences attentive.

This monthly show affords us all a wonderful opportunity to hear a more extensive intimate performance from local singer/songwriters as well as the chance to support a venue which graciously gives voice to these artists. Admission is $5. Great food on site. Superb staff. I believe performances will commence at 8:30pm. Some of the artists (Fleeting Trance and Stitchcraft) may also have CDs for sale on site.
Special thanks to JJ Schultz for his ongoing support of local artists. We are very lucky to have him as part of the local music community.
