* EXPLORE SALSA:
8:00 to 9:00 pm. An introduction to Salsa for brand new students who want to “give it a try”. If you know how to walk, climb stairs and how to count 1 to 8, then you have already mastered many of the necessary fundamentals of salsa dance.

* SALSA LEVEL IV (Advanced):
9:00 to 10:00 pm. PRE-REQUISITES: must know the basic step, left & right turn, cross body lead, cross body lead with turn, opposite cross body lead with turn, salsa/cumbia step & spot turn.

* MODERN BACHATA
10:00 to 11:00 pm. The dance is a four-step beat achieved with a walking Cuban hip motion, and a unique “pop”. The dance is performed both in open position and in closed position depending on the setting and mood of the partners. The basic dance sequence is a full 8 count in a side-to-side motion although, traditionally it was a back and forth motion.
- Modern Bachata (Nueva Bachata) is the new version of the traditional Bachata brought about through the younger generation of Bachata dancers. This style incorporates more free style moves. Originated in the Dominican Republic.

* Kids Salsa Class: 6-10 years old (3:00 to 3:30pm.)
* Teens Salsa Class: 11-17 years old (3:30 to 4:00pm)

The purpose of not only exposing kids to the different communities, culture and heritage through dance, but also to build a positive body image and self esteem. To increase strength, flexibility and agility, to encourage socialization amongst our youth in a positive and co-ed environment and to develop a deep appreciation of one's culture.

* Salsa I (Beg.)
Sundays 4 to 5 pm. For students new to salsa. This is a step-by-step progressive class for La Style. No partner needed. If you want the extra practice you may take an additional level one series for 50% off the normal registration price. You may also repeat the series for the same discount as long as you re-register.

* Salsa Level II (Adv.)
Sundays 5 to 6 pm. This picks up where series I leaves off. It starts with a brief review and moves on to the next phase of fundamentals. No partner needed.
