Join Ft Riley, Friday July 31, for the Victory Week Celebration. Victory Week is an event that honors the Big Red One’s lineage and history by commemorating fallen Soldiers of the 1st ID through a series of traditional ceremonies and tournaments. This year, the Family and Morale, Welfare & Recreation team is enhancing Victory Week with a Grande finale celebration...open to the public! The Victory Week Celebration will feature Mufflers and Music (a car show paired with a battle of the bands), Keni Thomas concert, Kids activities, Mounted Color Guard Demonstration, K-9 demo, a rock wall, paintball, and inflatables for the kids. To complete the festivities, the sky will be lit up by a grand firework display. This event is FREE and open to the public. Come see what the Big Red One is all about! Activities start at 5pm, Keni Thomas strikes up at 8pm, and Fireworks will soar at 9:30pm to the sounds of the First ID Band. Call 239-2179 for more information.
