Please join us for "The Long Life of the Short Story," a conversation between Terese Svoboda, author of the story collection, Trailer Girl (University of Nebraska Press/Bison Books, December 2009) -- described by Vanity Fair as "enthralling" and The New York Times Book Review as "a book of genuine grace and beauty" -- and Ben Greenman, New Yorker editor and author of the collections Superbad, Superworse, A Circle is a Balloon and Compass Both: Stories About Human Love and, most recently, Correspondences -- praised by The Los Angeles Times as "wonderfully intimidating... gorgeous" -- who will discuss the sparkling promise and enduring resilience of the form.
