About the Houston Science Fiction Association (HSFA)

The Houston Science Fiction Association is dedicated to the promotion of Imaginative Fiction. Imaginative Fiction includes all branches of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror as expressed in literature, television, and film.

The association membership is drawn from many independently operated Houston area clubs, each of which specializes in one or more aspects of Imaginative Fiction. The association is a conduit by which these specialty clubs can share ideas and promote themselves to all fans of Imaginative Fiction in Houston.

The Houston Science Fiction Association conducts annual conferences to bring together all the affiliated clubs and individual fans into one setting. These not-for-profit events provide varied programming including: specialty club presentations, vendors and artists, special guests, and in-depth panel discussions.
