The Symposium will investigate the trends and issues at the intersection of the many approaches to socializing the Web: the dynamics that arise between search technologies and the social infrastructure of links, tags, and cross-references created by human writers and readers. While the final program is being finalized in collaboration with our conference advisors, who include: danah boyd, Stowe Boyd, Marc Canter, Suw Charman, Kaliya Hamlin, Mary Hodder, Jeff Jarvis, JD Lasica, Liz Lawley, Kevin Marks, Ross Mayfield, Clay Shirky, David Weinberger, and Nancy White.
