The DevHouse is returning on Saturday, November 5th for yet another night of hacking, deving, and discussion.
We've tweaked our presentation format and we're proud to announce Geek Pitch!
Got a cool idea or project you'd like to demo? No more longwinded talks about esoteric technologies. You have TEN MINUTES to show something neat. You don't even have to have built it yourself - it's okay if you just heard about it on slashdot. But it would be *ideal* if you're showing your own projects. Be quick, be interesting. Yes, we
want to hear about it!
This is your chance, your soapbox, for sharing your ideas, however big or small, with peers of developers, designers and entrepreneurs. Both ad-hoc and premeditated presentations will be supported, but try to
let us know what you might present so we can better manage the event.
Following Geek Pitch will be a "keynote" and discussion on improving the world of open-source development with CivicForge by Chris Messina. Don't miss this!
Of course, the DevHouse is still a hackfest. Come work on your projects in a fun and social environment. Collaborate and cross pollinate with other great minds of the Bay Area.
You know the deal: bring yourself, bring some friends, ideally bring a laptop, and we'll provide everything else. Maybe even food.
