Can we switch this back to Interactive only? There is already an event for the Music portion; and we can add one for Film, too. Having this one event be for the whole thing messes up my calendar as the dates are different for all three portions of the conference.

As for tips - don't plan, and talk to as many people as possible. And if you are a germ-a-phobe bring some spray hand sanitizer you will be meeting 100's of people! Bring lots of water as well with you. By the end of conference you can easily loose your voice!

This "Rock Bands Rock Opera" SXSW 2008 event will feature several great rock bands from Los Angeles: Gliss, Sabrosa Purr, and Taxi Doll and Austin-natives, Lomita and Oliver Future - a band that was recently rated Best Live Band in Austin. The Norwegian label, Smalltown Supersound, will also supply DJ entertainment at the beginning and end of the evening, and Norwegian fashion by Moods of Norway will be shown on artists throughout the show.


At the show, we'll be showing off the latest versions of My Opera, Opera, Opera Mini, the Wii Internet Channel and some very special new stuff! We are excited to rock with you in Austin, TX at SXSW 2008 and look forward to seeing all of you at our open-bar, all-ages music and technology ROCK.OPERA.SXSW shindig!
