What is Unsilent Night (visit http://www.unsilentnight.com)
For the last decade and a half he has been leading this processions from the washington square arch to tompkins square park. The procession consists of an infinite number of boomboxes playing one of 4 movements of phil's composition. The tapes or cds are not necessarily started at the same time, and there is no particular order to the way people arrange themselves and walk.

The effect is a magical, shimmering aural experience. I hope you will join me in making it happen here in Seattle.

This is a wonderful event for the entire family. please do bring children, and spread the word to your friends and family.

If you do nothing else, this is what you do need to do: Find a boombox that can play CDRs (as in a home burned CD).
