@snax: and I can finally make it to a GeekAustin HH since it's not conflicting with Refresh's monthly meeting AND is in my neck o' the woods.

Hey everyone, hope you noticed the location change. We're taking things central for 2008 in an effort to make it easier. There's also tons of places to park downtown and valet parking available at the door. :)

Another improvement over last venue -
J. Black's Happy Hour runs from 4 - 8 pm, much better than the 6 pm ending time for those of us more fiscally challenged! :P

Well, hopefully this will work out ok for everyone. The additional benefit is that J. Blacks has a good audio video set up so it opens up a few more options if we have people who want to speak, etc. etc.

After hearing about the last one, how could I resist. If anyone wants to see George Straight at the Erwin (heaven forbid why) , I may have a couple comps to give away for the following evening.

Making it downtown instead of the domain is much more difficult for me at that time of the day but I may be able to make it. Networking and happy houring are two of my favorite things to do ;-)

Although not first to RSVP since whurley didn't twitter it! I'm glad that it's finally WITH Refresh Austin - I've been wanting to attend that event but since it conflicted with GeekAustin HH I'd missed it.
