iCommons 2008

The next iCommons Summit will be held from 29 July until 1 August, 2008 in Sapporo, Japan. iCommons is partnering with the City of Sapporo, Digital Garage and Creative Commons Japan to bring together pioneers of the free Internet from over 60 countries from around the world.

Based on input from the iCommons community, the 2008 Summit will incorporate an ‘open content 101′ educational track, sushi remixing workshops, peer production spaces and interactive debates.

We are also excited to announce that the summit will overlap with the Sapporo Beer Festival, providing an opportunity for more open and informal discussions over the famous Sapporo beer.
