Godskitchen Worldwide presents Arthur Baker in an exclusive event with a true music pioneer. Arthur Baker left his imprint on the first electronic rap record “Planet Rock” by Afrika Bambaataa. Reading his production and remix credits since the original release of Planet Rock in 82 is like reading a whos’ who of music spanning every conceivable genre: New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Joy Division, Neneh Cherry, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones, New Edition. Most recently Baker has been collaborating with Princess Superstar and is the mastermind behind the global success of Return To New York -- An edgy electro punk/funk traveling party that brings the dirtiest slices of the lower eastside right to our doorstep. Call it ghetto, booty, whatever you want -- It’s bass, and Arthur Baker has been bringing the house down with it for a good 30 years.
