Cue up sister symposium Club Transmediale, the "international festival dedicated to contemporary electronic, digital and experimental music," bringing bits and bytes out onto the dancefloor. Acoustic astronauts such as Vitalic, Mouse on Mars, and the Legendary Stardust Cowboy will spread their magic beans around town, along with nascent noisemakers Chrome Hoof, Klimek, and more. After dancing the night away, CTM participants are invited to keep on past the break of dawn with a full conference program of exhibitions, workshops, and lectures riffing off this year's theme -- "Unpredictable." Join electro-performance pioneers on their explorations of "signal transmission, reception, and electromysticism," struggle for digital dominance at the sonic wargames, or just build yourself a laptop Theremin to annoy the neighbors. Here's a punchcard for the festival's multiple musical venues -- just remember to wear clean underwear and baggy clothes since "intentional coincidences produce paradoxical irritations that allow for a re-enchantment and sensualisation of abstract structures."
