The Textile Workshop is a group of dedicated artists all of whom have obtained the City and Guilds Creative Embroidery qualification. They enjoy exploring not only their subject, but also techniques, colours and textures.

The members use a variety of techniques including the dyeing of fabric and thread, making paper and felt, machine stitching and detailed hand embroidery. They incorporate a wide range of materials and textures into their work - fine silks, heavier wools, hand made paper and found objects, to name but a few.
