Hello Friends,
Believe it or not we’re already planning for the Holidays! We hope to get you thinking about The 2nd ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF TREES to benefit Christmas in the Boro. Thanks to your generous support to the community, the Annual Festival of Trees has become one of Christmas in the Boro's most successful fund raising events. Last year’s extremely successful event provided enjoyment to the community as well as financial support toward brightening the holidays for some of our area’s most deserving children. The festival will again this year be hosted by the Georgia Southern University Continuing Education Center in the Nessmith-Lane Building on the Georgia Southern University Campus. We would like to invite you to be a part of this wonderful event by providing a tree or wreath or decorating a dontated tree, displaying a gingerbread creation or by being one of our many vendors to assist the Continuing Education Center in this endeavor. While the trees and wreaths are the main focus of the festival, we understand that you may be unable to display or decorate a tree or wreath, so please know that a financial sponsorship is always welcome.
The dates of the festival are November 16 – 20, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm daily and from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2009. Because of the number of entries for this year’s festival, please be sure to reserve your space early. On behalf of Georgia Southern University's Continuing Education Center, I would like to thank you for your generosity and for your commitment to ensuring the success of this event. We look forward to working with you in November!
