New York City, New York 10014 Get Directions
Please join us for another cracking edition of Solid Groove at Movida Friday, November 18 as we welcome DJ Hal (Intec / Blockhead) all the way from Nottingham, UK for a rare and exclusive performance in NYC.

A regular at UK hotspots like Stealth in Nottingham, Back2Basics in Leeds and The Cell, London, he has spent the summer touring across Europe with the Carl Cox & Friends tour.

DJ Hal plays an energetic, funky & pumping blend of deep, tech & electronic house, with a focus on danceable & fun tunes. Recent praise for his sets has come forth from the likes of Garth, Murray Richardson & Tony Thomas. As a producer, Hal has released loads of outstanding 12" EPs on labels like Cubic, 10 Kilo & Intec, but is probably best known for his outstanding singles on the California based Blockhead label with vocalist Jay Thomas, with his recent single "It Takes Two" gaining support from Carl Cox & the Lawnchair Generals among others.

DJ Hal has just finished recording his debut album for Carl Cox's "23rd Century" label which will released next spring. DJ Support from Michael Hime (Unknown People) & Justin R (EJC Collective).

$5 for ladies / $10 for gentlemen on list
