The "Book Bites" monthly discussion book for October will be The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows.

"Book Bites" meets at Manross Memorial Library, 260 Central Street, in Forestville. There will be an evening discussion, w/ pot luck on Thursday, October 8th. at 5:30 p.m. and an afternoon discussion with light refreshments on Tuesday October 13th. at 1:30 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the library, courtesy of the Connecticut Humanities Council.
