Based on the 1974 hit comedy, Mel Brooks once again transforms one of his films into a musical. 'Young Frankenstein,' inspired by the famed Mary Shelley novel, concerns the skeptical neurosurgeon grandson of Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who returns to Frankenstein's castle to find that the legendary monster was more than just a myth. Directed by Susan Stroman, 'Young Frankenstein' features music and lyrics by Mel Brooks, with a book by Brooks and Thomas Meehan. The show was named Best Musical by the Outer Critics Circle in 2008.
