San Diego's Pinback features Zach Smith and Rob Crow, whose prior bands include Heavy Vegetable, Thingy and 3 Mile Pilot. The duo, along with a rotating cast of support players, are at the heart of the some of the most complex, postmodern indie pop coming out of the West Coast. Formed in 1998, Pinback has four studio albums, with several live and studio EPs and singles.
