Big UK Flickrmeet #3 - Nottingham

The main morning meeting place will be 10AM in the Old Market Square

Outline for day is as follows. Pretty much go where you like and do what you want! Maps are being produced showing you where the good stuff is and how to get to it - as well as information for when you arrive in the city.

During the day, there will be timed meeting points for group photo ops and just general fun and socialising. It's very relaxed, so all of these are optional, but it would be nice if we all get together for the Castle group photo in the afternoon...

10:00AM - Meeting at the Old Market Square
There is a special food market on that day, so we should meet at the end of the square where all of the water features are.

10:00AM - 12:00PM For anyone interested, we have been granted entry to the Council House up until noon (because they have an event in the afternoon).
Important: Check in with Alex Foster, in the foyer of the building for the ground rules.

1:00PM - Lunch/Drink at the Pitcher & Piano pub
This is a converted church in the Lace Market area

4:00PM to 5:00PM - meet up at the castle for group photo
The Castle grounds are open until 5PM but last entry is 4:30PM. This will be a good opportunity to get group shots of us all together.

Some people will be leaving by now, but for anyone who fancies it...

After the Castle - Off to Canal House public house (More info here) **** UPDATE **** We now have an old Routemaster Bus to take us from the castle to the pub (a quick indirect tour probably!).

Other Information
We will be producing maps for everyone, and these will be made available for everyone online, but printed copies will also be available on the day.

One of the Nottingham group members (Thanks Bob!) has managed to get the council to give us free entry in to lots of the city attractions. So there will be a letter that you can take with you to get in to these places. That will also be made available for download, but extra copies will be available on the day.
