This exhibition series is designed to shed light on the experiences and accomplishments of segments of the Chattahoochee Valley community that have been overlooked or underrepresented in interpretation of local history. This first installment of the series will investigate the experiences of local African Americans during slavery and the accomplishments of the African American community during Reconstruction.
