On Sunday, February 24 from noon to 4pm performance artist lou suSi will officially take over The Arts League of Lowell Gallery at 246 Market Street in Lowell, Massachusetts. Come help celebrate the current Winter Salon exhibit with open mike festivities ... music, poetry, spokenword, dance, comedy, performance art ... whatever you'd like to bring to the stage.

Currently planned feature sets by Kenan Cooper, Catherine Wang Hsu, Clyve + the management and others.

Other plans include a session of 'Impromptu Community Artifact Creation' ... that's right folks! Active artmaking right on the floor. Just outside of the main gallery space viewer | participant | attendees will be invited to use crayons, pencils, markers and paint to create a large format work to give back to The Arts League of Lowell as a generous giant 'Thank You Card' for allowing us to 'Take Over' the space. ICAC will start early on in the session, immediately following 'Set Up | Tune Up { sUtU } ... so please, come on down and draw and paint and talk and eat and play.

Open Mike sign up starts at noon ... the first performance starts at 12:30.

Further itinerary items are up for discussion. It's all about the FLAs { four-letter acronyms } This event may repeat as a closing ceremony of sorts. We'll see how it goes, right? ;]
