#evfn is a weekly social gathering organized via the webbernets -- but it happens in real life! It stands for East Valley Friday Nights and yes, you are invited. Well, if you're going to be in the greater Phoenix area on a Friday night, that is...

This week, #evfn is joining the other #pfns for a great cause: Twestival Phoenix. A Twestival or Twitter-Festival is a global series of events organized by volunteers around the world under short timescales, which bring people offline for a great cause. Twestival is run 100% by volunteers and independently from any not-for-profit. Our local Phoenix event is to benefit the St. Mary's Food Bank. Check out http://tr.im/y7kY

Tickets are $20. And super local eateries have stepped up to feed you: http://tr.im/y7l6 How friggin' cool is that? Pretty sure drinks are on you. But free food. And it helps a good cause. And you're coming. Don't make me chase you down.

Some folks calls it a tweetup. I calls it an #evfn. Remember the agenda: no agenda. Have fun. Meet people. Party on!

Not in the east valley? No worries! Check out http://phoenixfridaynight.com for other hot and happening things each Friday in the greater Phoenix metro area!
