East Carolina University's Army ROTC "Pirate Battalion" and Greenville's, Brook Valley Country Club are pleased to announce the second annual Wounded Warrior Run in support of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina's Warrior Transition Battalion.

In 2008, over 100 runners joined forces with the Pirate Battalion and several local sponsors to raise over $3,500 to assist wounded Soldiers and their families as they recovered from injuries suffered in combat.

This year the Pirate Battalion has teamed up with Greenville's Brook Valley Country Club to establish a picturesque and challenging 5 mile course that loops through the scenic Brook Valley golf course and subdivision.

Please come show your appreciation for our Nation's Wounded Warriors and their Families on Saturday, November 14th, 2009, by registering for either the 5 Mile Classic road race or the 1 Mile "Fun" run.
