The 23rd annual Showcase of Bands will begin at 7pm on October 3rd at Schaller Memorial Stadium on the Anthony Wayne campus, 5967 Finzel Road, Whitehouse, Ohio.

The 2009 Showcase of Bands will feature some of the area’s top high school bands, including our own Anthony Wayne Marching Generals and Junior Marching Generals. Each band performs a "halftime" show in full uniform with full auxiliary. The evening culminates with all of the bands on the field for the Massed Band.

The guest high school bands are: Eastwood, Elmwood, Archbold, St. John's Jesuit, and Tinora. The guest college band is Adrian College.

We hare happy to have Tony Geftos of 13abc News return as our guest announcer. The guest conductor will be Fred Dais, past director of the 555th Air National Guard band.

Please join us for an evening that promises to be entertaining and enjoyable as we welcome many talented bands to our school. We hope to see you there!
