Guns ‘N Hoses is an exciting charity boxing event featuring
Police, Fire and EMT personnel within the greater metropolitan
area. Participants are from the Missouri counties of
Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte; and the Kansas counties
of Douglas, Johnson, Miami, Shawnee and Wyandotte.
Safety is paramount during the event, and all bouts are
supervised by USA Boxing, which is the national governing
body of amateur boxing in the United States.

100% of the proceeds from Guns ’N Hoses benefit local
charities. The majority goes to the Kansas City Crime
Commission’s Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment
Fund (SAFE), which provides fi nancial assistance to the
spouses and children of local sworn police officers,
fi refi ghters and emergency service personnel killed in the
line of duty. The balance goes to amateur boxing programs
in the Greater Kansas City area.
