L'environnement YAP (Yahoo! Application Platform, http://developer.yahoo.com/yap/) permet aux développeurs de toucher les millions d'utilisateurs Yahoo! et d'améliorer leur utilisation de Yahoo! en développant et déployant sur les pages du site Yahoo! de nouvelles et puissantes applications.

Cette présentation se veut un atelier pratique de mise en œuvre, animé par Christian Heilman, développeur "évangéliste" chez Yahoo!. Ce sera l'occation de découvrir cette technologie à travers quelques applications déjà actives, puis de plonger au cœur de la plate-forme YAP.

Nous vous proposerons une collation, suite à quoi viendra l'heure de se frotter à YAP pour de bon et élaborer des applications de test avec l'aide et l'assistance de développeurs Yahoo!.

L'événement aura lieu le mercredi 7 octobre, à partir de 20h00 à La Cantine.

Yahoo! Application Platform developer evening

The Yahoo! Application Platform (YAP http://developer.yahoo.com/yap ) allows developers to reach Yahoo's millions of users and improve the Yahoo! user experience by building and deploying sophisticated new applications for Yahoo! pages.

This event will be a technical workshop led by Yahoo! developer evangelist Christian Heilmann.

It will give an overview of the technology, including some examples of applications that have already been developed, followed by a deep dive into the YAP platform.

After some refreshments, there will also be an opportunity to get "hands-on" with YAP, as Yahoo! engineers step you through creating a sample application.

The event will be held at La Cantine on Wednesday 7th October, starting at 8 :00pm
