The Association for Women in Computing, Puget Sound Chapter (AWC-PS) hosts IT Certifications that Matter with an amazing panel of specialists Wednesday, November 18, at 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Mezza Café, 3rd floor, Starbuck’s Center

What IT certifications do employers recruit, screen and hire for? What skills do students gain from the various certification curriculums and training programs? Where do I go to get certified and how much does it cost? Can I get reimbursed and are there special programs for unemployed workers to obtain a certification or get retrained?

Attend AWC’s moderated panel - covering 7 key IT certification areas - discussed from the perspectives of the “accreditation certifiers” as well as hiring managers who value the skills and require the certification. Learn about state or local programs to help pay for training and available tax deductions.
