Livewire Brits Maximo Park are set to quicken our hearts in November with five theatre shows. The sartorial five-piece was last here in March 2008 to headline Playground Weekender and a few raucous sideshows.

Since that visit, the band has delivered its third studio effort Quicken The Heart, which NME breathlessly proclaimed as "the first great album of the latest great recession". Led by mercurial frontman Paul Smith, the Maximo Park live show is similarly accustomed to high praise.
