The JICC is proud to present Soichi Muraji live in concert. This is an excellent opportunity to see one of the young masters of classical guitar in an intimate setting.
Born in 1982, Soichi Muraji has played the guitar since he was three years old. Over the years he has captured first place in many guitar competitions including the 41st Annual Tokyo International Guitar Competition in 1998 at only 16 years old. In 1999 Muraji came to Boston to study under David Leisner and Eliot Fist at the New England Conservatory. He currently studies with David Leisner at The Manhattan School of Music in New York. He has released four solo albums since 2003, all on Victor Entertainment, Inc.
