Marigold is thrilled to host a rare treat - a traditional Indian "Baithak" or Salon Concert featuring SXSW selected artists on the evening of Friday, March 14.

Amika Kishwaha - Kathak Dance and Harmonium
Amie Maciszewski - Sitar and Backup Vocals

For the first ever in SXSW's history, music lovers will have the opportunity to relish the sensuous, melodically and thematically rich Urdu language song form "ghazal" performed by Cassius Khan, an outstanding Canadian artist of Indian descent. Joining him are expert harmonium player and Kathak dancer Amika Kushwaha also from Canada and Austin's own skilled sitarist Amie Maciszewski.

Audience members can also browse newly arrived merhcandise from India for sale and enjoy tasty Indian refershments before and after the concert.

No Cover but donation of $10-15 will be appreciated.
