Dynamical processes on complex networks can model the collective behavior in a wide
variety of systems of nature and society like cellular networks, ecological networks, social
networks, epidemics, internet, neural networks etc. The study of the topology and evolution of
such real networks governed by organizing principles and the consequent emergent behavior
forman area of intense research interest.

"Dynamics on Networks" - DoN2009 is a 2-day national symposium organised by
Indian Institute of Science Education & Research, Pune during November 13-14, 2009. The
aim of the symposium is to bring together the expertise available in the country and expose
researchers and students to the recent trends and research activities in this area.

The symposium will have invited talks and a few selected contributory papers as oral
presentations leaving sufficient time for discussions among the participants. Young
researchers, PhD students and highly motivated MS students are invited to participate.

Interested participants may send an e-mail with contact details. Those who would like to present
their work may submit the abstract also along with the application. Details of registration are
given below. Travel funds will be available to a limited number of participants, preference being
given to young researchers from universities and those who do not have any other source of
support.
