Film followed by discussion with special guest, director Oded Adomi Leshem

The Bedouin village of El-Sayed has the world’s largest percentage of deaf people. In this unique society with its own special form of sign language, deafness is not a handicap, but part of the fabric of life. When one father decides to get a cochlear implant for his son, this tightly knit community has distinct and complex reactions.
