Birds and Batteries started in Boston. They migrated to Wellfleet, Cape Cod where the 18 songs known as 'Nature vs. Nature' were recorded. One particularly fuzzy bird flew all the way to San Francisco and reformed Birds and Batteries. They now reside in San Francisco and Oakland.
