The Los Angeles WordPress Users Group (LAWPUG?) was created for WordPress enthusiasts and professionals in the Greater Los Angeles area to come together and discuss their favorite bit of blogging software.

Currently, the idea is to try to meet once a month for a meal and small semi-structured discussion about WordPress. We're going to use this first meeting to get to know everyone in the community, so no discussion will be scheduled. We'll be meeting near Starbucks and Lotteria in the southwest corner (near the intersection of 3rd & Fairfax) and should have signs so you can find us.

Everyone who is interested in fostering a WordPress community in Los Angeles should come out and say hey if they've got some free time.
