The 'Uncovering Virginia' exhibit will look at the natural history of your home state. Six recreated dig sites will represent important scientific finds in Virginia. Each site will reveal a snapshot in time, ranging from 300 million years ago to 500 years ago and will include real objects from each find. Exhibit zones, incorporating video and animation, will give visitors an interactive experience seeing and hearing what Virginia was like in past eras. Investigative activities using state-of-the-art technology will mean that you'll learn something new about Virginia every time you visit.
